They are the forgotten innocent souls. They have lost both parents to HIV/ AIDS, and they are carrying an emotional baggage too big for children of their age to carry. The circumstances of their lives have unfairly robbed them of their childhood. Before they even have a chance to grow up, life has catapulted them into the world of sorrow, pain and heartaches. While the rest of the world gets on with their lives, these youngsters have lost hope and do not know what it means to be a child. These boys and girls need support which is hard to come by in the Kenya of today. That’s why The Home of Hope wants to make a difference in their lives and give them a chance to have a better future.
